Šibenik real estate

Šibenik is one of the oldest native Croatian cities on the Adriatic. It is located in the central Adriatic, in the picturesque, indented bay that is influenced by the Krka, one of the most beautiful Croatian karst rivers. Šibenik is known for its cultural and historical sights and natural beauties, and boasts with two UNESCO-protected monuments, the Cathedral of St. Jakov and the fortress of St. Nikola and two national parks, Krka and Kornati. There are as many as three fortresses in the city: St. Mihovil, Barone, St. Ivan and St. Nikola from the sea side, offering a beautiful view of the canal St. Ante and the city of Šibenik itself. The International Children's Festival is a trademark of Šibenik. It was first held in 1958 and soon became a major festival of international importance. Banj Beach is a city beach that is just a short walk from the old town. The beach offers an attractive view of the Old Town, the Cathedral of St. Jakov (UNESCO), the Fortress of St. Mihovil and the Canal of St. Ante.
